This time the operating staff was a bit short handed, so that participating in the M/2 catergory was considered. In the end everybody that was there just wanted to have fun and we participated as M/M.

This weekend (March 17&18), four girls are getting on the air who never teamed up before for a contest. Everyone of them knows how to contest - after all, they all are members of the Bavarian Contest Club... But before even thinking of the competition, Friday's agenda calls for antenna work, as there is no 15m antenna at this point. Last weekend, the guys worked hard to prepare everything.

After some busy weekends (CQ 160M, ARRLDX CW&SSB) there was again time to do some necessary repairs. Saturday 9 O'clock Ben-DL6FBL, Dietmar-DL3DXX, Jörg-DF6JC, Mike-DL2OE and Aurelio-PC5A started the day with a traditional breakfast. Markus joined the team about 45 minutes later bringing the much appreciated truck with a lifting platform (working hight 24mtr). Ben and Mike would stay indoors while the rest went to work outside...

Ben played "tech support" again, this time for Sandy, DL1QQ. Needless to say that he took adavantage of the opportunity to go on the air on the available bands. Conditions were brutal and only day 2 provided some fun.

Here is my result. The second day was more fun because conditions were only half as bad as on day 1.
